The DI&W Committee will play an integral role in facilitating our organisation-wide diversity and inclusion journey.
The DI&W Committee will assist in establishing diversity, inclusion, and wellbeing strategic priorities, as well as implementing diversity and inclusion-related initiatives. The committee will be made up of a diverse team with representation from across the business and regions.
The committee will meet once a month, typically by video conference, with some additional hours to work on projects outside of meetings.
We are now calling for applications to fill seven spots on the UP Education Diversity, Inclusion, and Wellbeing (DI&W) Committee.
If you would like to join the DI&W Committee, email people@up.education. Please Include a succinct paragraph about why you’d like to be considered for the opportunity and what skills, experience and/or ideas you would offer to the team.
You do not need to be an expert in diversity and inclusion. The People Team will provide you with the resources and training to confidently carry out the functions of the group.
If you are a successful applicant, the People Team will support you and your manager so you can comfortably carry out your responsibilities as a committee member.
For those applicants who aren’t selected, don’t worry, you will have another chance next year. There will also be plenty of opportunities to be involved in diversity and inclusion-related initiatives throughout the year.
